More fun with the Victorian data – all those names which were used more than 5 times, but less than 10 times last year. Looking for a rare name? You just might find it here.
I did not include variant spellings of more popular names, names where the variant spellings added up to more than 9 uses, or unisex names where the numbers of boys and girls together added up to more than 9.
I did include short forms and elaborations of more popular names, and forms of more popular names from different countries/languages.

Pingback: Underused Names for Girls « Waltzing More Than Matilda
I found it surprising that Judy was used more then Kiana
I found it surprising that some of these names were used at all, really.
The name Amna is quite popular in Bosnia and Herzegovina; it is currently at place 12 with 137 baby girls given the name in 2012.
I think that the name Milan will gain more popularity as the singer Shakira just gave the name to her son.
Yes when I looked Amna up at Behind the Name to see what it meant, I saw it was Top 20 in Bosnia & Herzegovina (they said #16, they must have not updated all their popularity lists).
It’s hard to tell with celebrity baby names whether they will take off or not – Harlow is zooming, Jagger is going great guns, Shiloh isn’t doing much at all, Apple is going nowhere.
We’ll have to see how Milan goes – although I see quite a few babies named Shakira in Australia, so it seems promising.
