Sophie and Michael wanted to use the name Olive for their baby if they had a girl, but Sophie worried that Olive might become too popular in the future, and wrote in to the blog to ask what people thought.
In the end, they did have a girl, and decided to go with their first choice anyway, so they now have a little
OLIVE,
younger sister to Mary.
Sophie was prompted to send an update when she saw Kelly’s story about finding a name for the sister of their daughter Olive, and thanked us for our advice.
Congratulations Sophie and Michael, and I’m so glad you followed your heart rather than worrying about what might happen in the future.

So glad to hear people are choosing names they truly love & not compromising with something they like less for fear it will get too popular.
Mary & Olive are perfect. Well done!
