I’m super excited by Biarta. I’m hoping it’s a Scandinavian version of Bertha. Love a “bert” name.
Charli Biarta has a very sweet name story – there were complications during labour, and Charli’s middle name is after the surgeon who helped to safely deliver her. It doesn’t give any other details, but I found that there are quite a few Australian women named Biarta (including a paediatric surgeon).
I don’t know why it seems to be almost uniquely Australian, and I’m not sure where it’s from. A variant of Bertha seems possible though.

Ah, that is a relieving story. And great that there’s another Biarta in the world, wherever it comes from.
Pixie Sage and Ruby Nyx – what a gorgeous pair! I thought they must be twins when I saw the title of this post 🙂
Some real gems this week!
They would actually make spectacular twins! 🙂
