Pingback: Primrose Alice and Dashiell Joseph | Baby Name ...
I’m a bit disturbed by the top sib-set. Belial is a devil and daemon doesn’t seem great as a name. The names seem like they would be hard to wear.
Also while ae looks cool it doesn’t really fit pronounciation wise with these names (is it da-mon or day-mon? Zam-ayl or zam-al?) tricky. Aurora is lovely though.
I have seen children before with names inspired by the occult/demonology, but it’s the first time I’ve seen a sibset with the same theme – very rare, and probably controversial. I confess to finding the meaning of Belial a bit upsetting: “worthless”.
As far as I know, Daemon is DAY-mon (like the name Damon), and Zamael is zam-uh-el.
Dashiell Joseph is handsome (and reminds me of my nephew Dashiell Peter, age 5).
Others I find appealing: Lucy Helen and Mabel Elizabeth
Dashiell Peter is very handsome – is he called Dash too?
Nice to see Primrose in first place. Love Thea, George Augustus and Memphis (though this is the first boy Memphis I have heard).
I know what you mean (to me it seems more of a girl’s name, because Memphis was a queen), but Memphis is actually more common for boys, due to Elvis I guess.
The Elvis association makes Memphis much less attractive than the ancient Egyptian/feminine association to me.
