Cute sibset of Henry and Albie
Esther Pearl looks like one to beat once polling starts!
Esther Pearl is my favourite. I agree with JMS in regard to Ariyan Ray, though I wonder if its just a creative spelling of Arianne?
No it’s a boy’s name – it’s Indian.
Yikes, Ariyan Ray is uncomfortably close to an association I would not want included in my child’s name!
Loving Esther Pearl, Lucy Freda, Olive Valentino, Jude David, Luca Dominic and Vincent James. I wonder if little Jaya is the son of a lady I know, her older kids are Gabriel, Aria and Noah and last time I saw her she was massively pregnant.
Jessie, here is the link to little Jaya’s photo in the papers with family details, so you can see whether it’s the lady you know.

Ooh, thanks! It is the lady I was thinking of. What a sweet, serious little guy!
I thought it must be, otherwise it would be quite a coincidence! And nice to find out Gabi is a boy – I mean not that it’s so great he’s a boy, as it’s nice to know the gender, which the papers don’t always tell you.
Wow, that’s a very powerful picture! My favourite is Jude David.
I read that Ashani means “lightning” or “a flash of light”, so it seemed appropriate. Plus we have been having some very dramatic summer lightning storms lately.
