I’ve noticed a few babies being given three names lately. Is this a new trend for Australia, do you think?
I think it might be a new-old trend – three names were pretty standard (for boys of a certain class anyway) in my great-grandfather’s day. Maybe we’re getting back to the old ways of doing things, influenced by British trends of today – as I’m sure we were influenced a century ago.
I would have thought Lady would be banned in Australia obviously not.
And Amethyst I wonder if she was named with the rapper in mind? Most likely not since its not common knowledge I guess.
Love Sullivan Henry but I could never use it with my favourite name being Eamon
I wouldn’t of thought you could name a child Lady in Australia obviously you can. Love Sullivan Henry. Sullivan is a massive GP for me (it’s usuable but my favourite boys name is Eamon)
The rules say you can’t call a baby Lady – but apparently they are quite flexible rules! Or else the baby’s name was announced before it was officially registered; I’m not really sure.
For the girls I like Amethyst Lucia and Esther Ruby. For the boys I like Hector Montgomery Joseph, which is even sweeter when paired with his sister, Miriam. Miriam & Hector- very nice!
Zed, Axel, & Nova make a very interesting sibling set.
Very happy to see a Hector! 🙂
