Er, Cupcake and Jimbo? Sure they weren’t pet names or actual pets? Haha dear God I hope so.
Haha, I’m pretty sure these are just nicknames – surely nobody would call their kid Cupcake for real?
To me Dajan and Taylah are very mismatched and Leah and Megan are a bit dated to me
I thought Dajan and Taylah were an unusual match for twins as well.
Leah is actually in the Top 100 and climbing, so it’s not dated, but I guess Megan is slightly.
I think of Megan as my age and older same with Taylah and Leah (probably due to Leanne)
I went to school with lots of Leahs and Megans, so they’ve obviously lasted well! I think of them as my age, but I guess they can be any age from 40-ish to new baby just as easily.
I’m not big on Anker, mainly because I don’t necessarily see what’s wrong with Anchor. If you’re going to use the name, might as well spell it right. Do Australians say wanker, at all?
Anker is a Danish name meaning “harvester”, so it’s not the same as Anchor.
I’m not sure how this family will pronounce it, but in Denmark it’s said AHN-ker, rather than rhyming with “wanker”.
We definitely say that word – a lot! 🙂
Ahhh okay, that makes more sense now!
