Lovely to see Bonifacio in use – even if it is in the middle! I read The Thief Lord by Cornelia Funke a few years ago now, and the two main characters were called Prosper and Boniface ‘Bo’.
Nyak — that’s an interesting one! Any insight on where it comes from?
Well I had no idea – but apparently it means “river” in the Native American language of the Yukon in Canada (if I’m reading it correctly). I found it on a Yukon site, so it seems to be authentic.
However, perhaps it has other meanings?
