The Fraser Coast region is in Queensland, centred on the twin cities of Hervey Bay and Maryborough, and also including Fraser Island. Fraser Island is thought to be the largest sand island in the world, at 1840 square km (710 square miles); it’s Queensland’s largest island, and Australia’s sixth largest. It was named after a shipwreck survivor, Eliza Fraser. Fraser Island has abundant plant life and a diverse range of animals; it’s listed as a World Heritage site.

A lot of creative spelling here – Adelayde, Harpah, Myniaah, Paityn, Koopa…..a bit scary seeing so much of it in one place
The one that fascinates me is Myniaah – what is it a creative spelling OF? I only found it in one other place, an old record from the 19th century.
